Emotion and Chinese medicine

What Is Acu-Emotional Release?

Have you ever felt hooked into an emotion so much that you just couldn’t get rid of? Maybe you felt angry or frustrated about something that happened and you just can’t get it off your mind?

Western medicine attributes only one organ to our emotions…the brain. But Chinese medicine discovered thousands of years ago that there is a deep connection between specific emotions and specific organs. And that the quality of our thoughts are determined by the status of our organs.

  • The Heart relates to joy or lack of joy.
  • Lungs correspond to grief or letting go.
  • Kidneys correspond to fear and procrastination.
  • Liver corresponds to anger or frustration.
  • The Stomach corresponds to worry.

Remember that saying: “My stomach is tied up in knots?” Well, there’s a perfect illustration.
